Meet Grace

Experience You Can Trust. Care You Can Feel.

My name is Grace McCloud, and I am a Certified Massage Therapist with more than 21 years of experience dedicated to helping people feel better, move with greater ease, and recover with confidence.

Throughout my career, I have developed specialized expertise in lymphatic therapy, post-operative recovery, therapeutic bodywork, oncology massage, prenatal massage, trigger point therapy, visceral manipulation, and structural integration.

I believe effective bodywork begins with understanding the whole person—not just the area that hurts. Every body is different, and every client has a unique history, lifestyle, and set of needs. That is why I take the time to listen, assess, and create a personalized approach for each individual.

My commitment to continued education allows me to continually refine my techniques and incorporate advanced, evidence-informed approaches into my practice.

But beyond the techniques and training, caring for people is what truly inspires me.

I believe therapeutic touch can support not only the body, but also a person’s overall sense of well-being. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you can slow down, reconnect with your body, and receive the individualized care you deserve.

Your body is unique. Your care should be, too.

Frequently Asked Question

What is the Lymphatic System?

The lymphatic or lymph system involves an extensive network of lymphatic vessels that goes through almost

all our tissues to allow for the movement of a fluid called lymph. This fluid contains infection-fighting white blood cells. Lymph circulates through the body in a similar way as blood. The primary function of the lymphatic system

is to transport lymph. When functioning properly, it cleans the body, eliminating the toxins, in addition to playing

a key role in assisting the immune system to prevent diseases, and reducing edema and water retention.

What to expect from the treatment?

Based on the anatomy and physiology of the Lymphatic System, the therapist will apply very gentle recurring

circular movements in specific areas of the body. These movements can be manual, machine assisted, or a combination of both. In most cases, patients experience an extremely relaxing feeling at the end of the session. Depending on each case, scheduling sessions regularly

will produce better results.

What causes the lymphatic system not work properly?

There are several causes why the lymphatic system would not work well. The most common are:

Hormonal imbalances

Food allergies

Infections

Stress

Improper diet

Surgeries

Lack of exercise

Cancer treatments

Lack of sleep

Digestive disorders

Excessive weight

What is the difference between Manual and Assisted Lymphatic Drainage?

Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a technique, which uses pressure and motion applied with the hands

to help stimulate proper lymphatic fluid flow and drainage. The primary purpose of MLD therapy is to treat lymphedema patients. The therapy is practiced in clinics and hospitals all over the world by certified therapists.

Although MLD has its place, Assisted Lymphatic Therapy (ALT) can stimulate the lymph at a greater depth

and it will enhance lymph flow with far less therapy time. The enhanced stimulation of ALT has provided benefits

to many of my clients who experienced limited response from MLD.

Who can benefit from Lymphatic Drainage?

In reality, everyone can benefit from the Lymphatic Drainage treatment. Since the lymphatic system plays

an important role in the immune system, the proper flow

of the lymph fluid can positively impact many conditions, even if in a preventative way. People, who are struggling with a multitude of conditions, would also benefit from the treatment. These conditions may be:

Pre and post-cosmetic surgery patients

General inflammation

Cancer

Heart disease

Lyme disease

Chronic pain

Fibromyalgia

Auto-Immune disease

Multiple sclerosis

Scar reduction

Poor circulation

Enlarged prostate

General detox and cleansing

Edema and water retention

Cellulite

Lymphedema

Pre and post-athletic application (preventive and reparative injuries)

What is Assisted Lymphatic Therapy (ALT)?

Assisted Lymphatic Therapy is a gentle, light touch non-invasive technique to stimulate the proper flow and drainage of the lymphatic system. A combination of vibrational, light and electrical waves help to stimulate

the flow by causing the dissociation of proteins that have become trapped in the body. This technique

offers the patient a natural complement to the manual Lymphatic Therapy.
